1. Aqua Jade
Style: dance
Favourite video: Mamma Mia Dance Workout
I love the energy that Aqua Jade brings to her videos. She always gives 100%, even dressing to match the theme of her workout. She posts new videos 2-3 times a week and has covered a huge range of incredible music from 50s rock n’ roll to 90s boy bands to The Greatest Showman. Her routines are varied and fun and easy to follow.

2. Heather Robertson
Style: HIIT, cardio, weights
Favourite video: Fierce Full Body HIIT
Heather Robertson is my favourite Youtuber for really high intensity workouts. The titles may sound intimidating (with words like Killer and Extreme) but once you get going they’re definitely doable. She has a good range of videos including no equipment, no repeat, no jumping and dumbbell workouts. Lots of interesting exercises, very little talking, great video format and generally super fun.

3. Wook’s Story
Style: dance
Favourite video: 15 Minute Diet Dance
Wook’s Story offers really fun zumba-style dance fitness videos led by a group of dance choreographers from Korea. I only wish this channel had more longer workouts as most videos only last one song. There are however a few which combine the songs into 15 minute videos and you can of course create your own playlist of your favourites.

4. Puregym
Style: combat, legs bums & tums, sweat, bodytone, spin, abs, HIIT
Favourite video: Combat Class with Dave
Puregym’s Youtube channel has quite a lot of virtual classes which are great to follow along with at home. There’s a choice of styles so you can try out different things and see what you like best. The instructors are motivational and weights are generally optional so there’s something for everyone, even if you don’t have access to equipment.

5. The Body Project
Style: low impact, low intensity, cardio, toning
Favourite video: 30 Minute Fat Burning Home Workout for Beginners
This channel is ideal for those who are new to fitness or for days where you want a slightly easier workout. The trainers are very encouraging and the workouts are fun. This is one of the best channels out there for representing lots of different body types and showing that exercise is for everyone.

6. MadFit
Style: dance, cardio, HIIT, yoga, resistance bands, dumbbells, abs, stretch
Favourite video: 20 Minute Full Body Workout
MadFit’s videos tend to be on the shorter side so they’re great for combining with other videos or for busy days. Plenty of guidance to help beginners but definitely also challenging for experts. One of my regular go-tos.

7. Fitness Blender
Style: cardio, strength, HIIT
Favourite video: 5 Day Workout Challenge for Busy People
This channel is run by couple Kelly and Daniel. They have hundreds of videos to choose from at every intensity for every muscle group. They know what they’re talking about and always emphasise the importance of warm ups, cool downs and correct form. If you’re concerned about injury or like to have a little extra guidance, these are the people to go to. No music in these videos so you can play your own if you wish to. I especially like their 5 day challenges.

8. Mady Morrison
Style: yoga, toning, stretch
Favourite video: Toned Arms, Abs & Back Workout
German Youtuber specialising in yoga but also offering some excellent toning workouts. She has a really nice format and her videos are never too monotonous. Her arm workout is my favourite on the internet.

9. The Studio by Jamie Kinkeade
Style: dance, barre, HIIT
Favourite video: Electric Energy Barre Fitness Workout
High energy, super fun workouts to well-known, upbeat tunes with disco lighting. Intense, varied, active workouts that get you sweating and smiling.

10. Bhangralicious
Style: dance, low impact, cardio
Favourite video: Bhangra Workout at Home
Great cardio/dance workouts including Bhangra, Gidha, Bollywood, and Hip Hop. Low impact, lots of fun.
